Snowball Fight Online goes 3D
A brand-new look, twelve characters, five winter maps and maps that fight back. Here is everything new in the 3D version of Snowball Fight Online.
Snowball Fight Online has a whole new look. The game is now fully 3D — every character, building, tree and snowball — while keeping the quick, pick-up-and-play feel of the original.
Twelve characters to unlock
Start as the Winter Buddy and earn snowflakes in every match to unlock the rest: a Christmas Elf, a Gingerbread runner, a Thief, a Police officer, a Ninja, a Princess, a Viking, a Spartan, an Orc, a (small, friendly) Yeti and Santa himself. Characters are cosmetic only — everyone plays on the same terms. See them all on the characters page.
Five winter maps
- Christmas Market — fairy lights, a giant tree and Santa flying overhead.
- Frozen Harbor — a frozen canal at night with a drawbridge that lifts without mercy.
- Pine Village — snowy slopes that send avalanches rolling down.
- Ice Castle — two castles, four snow cannons.
- Winter Market — a crowded market full of stalls to raid.
Each map has its own page with tips.
Maps that fight back
The new maps are not just backdrops. Campfires heal you when you are not under fire. Market stalls drop supplies when you hit them. Avalanche slopes, drawbridges and snow cannons can win a fight for you — or end it. And watch out for the wildlife: polar bears that chase whoever hits them, snow foxes that steal power-ups, penguins that belly-slide into people, and a Yeti that may stomp in halfway through a match.
Better power-ups
Power-ups now go into two item slots that you trigger with Q and E. The strongest shots — Giant Ball, Snow Gatling and Lob Shot — sit on glowing power spots, and knocking out three players in one life earns you a Snowstorm. The full list is on the power-ups page.
Jump in and see it for yourself — it is free and takes about ten seconds.
